Exploring a New Winery in Virginia

It's time to explore some of the wineries that have been newly added to Virginia's fast growing wine region, and so for our next exploration we have selected a scenic winery with a historic manor house.

Our Saturday afternoon exploration will entail a visit to a winery in Northern Virginia, just about an hour's drive from Washington DC.

Exploring a New Winery in Virginia

We will visit a winery in Northern Virginia which opened in 2018 located in a scenic surrounding and having a historic manor house.

Fleetwood Farm Winery is a new addition to the Mosby cluster which are located primarily along Route 50, John Mosby Highway that winds through the villages of Aldie and Middleburg where wine country meets horse country.

The winery wine list includes Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Reserve Cabernet and a few other blends and revolving selections from premier wine regions around the world. The winery also offers a food menu that includes cheese, charcuterie, hummus and pita chips.

We will explore their different wines and enjoy a glass or two in the beautiful surrounding.
