For our next wine education, exploration and tasting event we are going to explore the wines from ten East Coast states, many from small boutique wineries that are hard to find in the region’s wine shops.

Tasting wines from the East Coast

We will participate in the wine tasting event hosted by the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association which promotes American wine produced in the eastern states.

Wine Tasting Details

This is an event hosted by the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association, featuring wines from their 2018 annual wine competition, the largest in the nation focused exclusively on the wines of the East Coast.

With its diverse variety of grapes and micro-climates, the wines produced on the East Coast can vary immensely, and with good climate conditions and wine making skills compete with the best regions from around the world.

During the event, we will be tasting wines from ten East Coast states, many from small boutique wineries that are hard to find in the region’s wine shops, but represent a full cross-section of wine varietals being produced from classic European Vinifera grapes, as well as Native American and American and French Hybrid grapes.

All wines are offered for tasting and purchase and accompanying the tasting will be ample hors d’oeuvres and other snacks.

The cost for the event is $15.00 per adult.
