So our summer explorations continue for a chilled beer under the shaded canopy of a beer garden with friends and others that love the spirit of being outdoors.

For our next beer garden event we have selected a beer garden in the Shaw neighborhood of DC known to be a fun, friendly, buzzing place.

Dacha Beer Garden in Shaw is a block away from Shaw Metro station (Green and Yellow lines) featuring German, Belgian and American craft beers, plus eats such as bratwurst, currywurst, sausage smorgasbord, roasted potatoes and some vegetarian options.

They have a good selection of craft beers, along with gluten free offering which includes cider, mead and gluten free beer.

Beer gardens first originated in Bavaria and they are an integral part of the German culture.

We will enjoy a couple of hours at Dacha Beer Garden sampling their different beers and enjoying the warm summer weather.
